Slurve is a small web development studio in sunny Philadelphia.

About

Hey, I’m Tom Rose, a New Jersey native currently living in Philadelphia. I established Slurve back in 2006 after spending a decade working with some really smart folks at MLB.com, Yankees.com, and NJ.com.

I’ve been building websites since the late 1990s. Back then, the internet was young, the <blink> tag was cool and I had a full head of hair. Things are different now, but my passion for web standards and clean code is the same.

When I’m not working on the web, I enjoy traveling, baking bread and exploring the incredible city of Philadelphia with my wife, Jamie. Oh, and Slurve? It’s a baseball term — a combination of a slider and a curveball. I’d love to work with you. Get in touch!
