Slurve is a small web development studio in sunny Philadelphia.

troseHey, I’m Tom Rose, a New Jersey native currently living in West Philly. I established Slurve back in 2006 after spending a decade working with some really smart folks at MLB.com, Yankees.com and NJ.com.

I’ve been building websites since the late 1990s. Back then, the internet was young, the <blink> tag was cool and I had a full head of hair (sort of). Things are different now, but my passion for nice, clean code is the same. I do all work myself, from the initial design concepts to the finishing touches on the HTML and CSS. However, I’ll occasionally collaborate with other designers and developers on larger projects.

When I’m not working on the web, I enjoy traveling to foreign countries, listening to (what I think is) good music and taking photographs. I also love exploring the incredible city of Philadelphia on bicycle with my wife, Jamie.

Oh, and Slurve? It’s a baseball term — a combination of a slider and a curveball. I’d love to work with you. Get in touch!
